The available acquisition modes include CONTINUOUS, SINGLE FRAME, and MULTIFRAME

Continuous mode is the default acquisition mode when the GUI is first open

When the Acquisition Mode is set to...

  • Continuous Mode, the sensor is free running and does not require a trigger. Images are continuously sent out of the sensor at the fastest rate possible.
  • Single Frame Mode, a trigger is required for each image acquisition.
  • Multiframe Mode, multiple images can be acquired from a single trigger.

(*NOTE:  For information on triggering the camera, see Trigger Modes)

To begin acquiring images, press the "Start" button. This will open a separate display window.

Please note that in order to change modes you must first click on the "Stop" button.

For example, to change from "CONTINUOUS" mode to "Single Frame" mode, image acquisition must be stopped.
